I found it to be very informative about many regions/ cities of Spain the author travelled when visited Spain from Barcelona, Zaragozza, Valladolid, Burgos, Madrid, Toledo, and the lovely Andalusia. He described bery accurately , but with passion also the not only the cities itself, but the local people habits and attitude which is very nice.Tourism was not developed in the time this book was written, therefore a foreigner was treated more friendly and welcomed.I would recommend before a trip to SPain
