Pure magic, no explanation that it is a dream or some other adult explanation! One of the first books that I got from the library on my very own library card. When I re-read this after many, many years---I was a child again and it felt "mighty fine". I had told my children about it--but they were not able to read it as it was "out of print" for many years. I bought one as a gift for my 50 year old daughter and she loved it , too. You are never too old for a good story!

I had no idea what it was about or what kind of story it was before I started reading it. I was definitely caught off-guard as I got into the story, but it was entertaining and very easy to read. It's a story I wish I would've had as a child, but can still appreciate as an adult. I'm so glad I stumbled upon this book!
