A beautiful trip to Iceland By Kyrre Havik Eriksen Finished reading this book yesterday, and it's a lovely and accurate (at least for me) description of how it is to visit Iceland for the first time. It reminded me so much on how it was for me, and how wonderful Iceland is! If you don't want to go to Iceland after reading this book, you are never wanting to go to Iceland.Lonnie writes funny and personal about his trip and how he felt it, and with his cute and accurate drawings makes this a perfect travel comic about Iceland.

Very beautifully and brightly illustrated with keen-eyed attention to detail on the customs, food and landscapes of Iceland. The very personal and human way Lonnie depicts his experiences makes you really feel as if you yourself are there journeying alongside him.I also loved the inclusion of the maps and photographs. I'm going to Iceland this summer and I'm definitely going to be bringing my copy of this book to check out the many places Lonnie experienced and recommended :)

The story stands on its own, but if you want to use this as a guide book there is enough material (even maps!) so you can find great places to visit.
