6 of 8 people found the following review helpful. An Important Account of a Terrible Time By Motley Wisdom The book is about the murder of blacks in the United States in the late 19th Century. It is a significant account but very difficult to read about. For me, a little went a long way. I could not finish it.

By Snake It is hard for a person to read this book without realizing what terrible crimes were committed by supposedly upstanding people to black people throughout this country. This book details what racial atrocities happened In this country's past. Does prejudice ever really stop though. The writer does a great job of chronicling the horrible things done to blacks in the past.
