Garrison, Jr. I grew up knowing very little about my Welsh heritage, but this book makes me long to walk the hills of Wales. The attitudes and mannerisms remind me of family I knew growing up. Truly, I would recommend this book for those learning of their Welsh background or simply for those looking to learn about a fascinating culture that empires have never been able to conquer! 0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. is okay, not exactly what i wanted By beatricepogin is okay, not exactly what i wanted, but worth reading. haven't read the whole thing, but plan to return to it, after reading history of British Celtic spirituality. i think with any people who is conquered, who has also put up a resistance, which even with my very limited knowledge, you will find all kinds of pockets and variations of people and ideas.
