1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Bad Kindle Version By Amazon Customer 'The Three Taverns' is an early book of the great, sadly neglected American port, E. A. Robinson. While the poems are joys to read and re-read, the publication on Kindle is just awful. One cannot access one poem at at time since the table of contents does not have a direct synchronization to the poem itself. The printed page is hard to read, aloppy spacing, and the like. Were it not for the quality of the poetry, I'd have given this a 0 or 1 star rating.

Robinson who is a far better poet than I had thought he was. Now I am endeavoring to read more of his poetry and have so far not been disappointed. This is a very good collection of his shorter poems. My real problem is that I can't yet situate him between Whitman and T.S. Eliot or William Carlos Williams?
