Rome is a beautiful city, rich in culture, history, art and food, but can seem a little overwhelming when confronted with the inevitable double edged sword of travelling – too many things to see, too little time to see them all. “Rome for Tourists” is the most useful guide to help you with the seemingly overwhelming planning process. Unlike other tourist guides, this book is loaded with tips and secrets that Rome locals try to keep to themselves. The book lists several hole-in-the-wall restaurants, an array of accommodation (categorized by price range), must-see sites as well as spots in the city that are unknown to most tourists but are definitely worth visiting. I’m pretty sure this book will be the cause of my rebooking a trip to Rome for this coming summer season.

Made my trip amazing By C M I have always wanted to go to Rome, so when I was finally given the opportunity I knew I had to make it an amazing experience for me and my family. This book helped a lot, the author explains the etiquette used in Italy as well as good hotels to stay at and restaurants to go to. I went to a few of the places suggested and they were really impressive. I followed the itinerary for the first 5 days of my trip and I feel like I really got to see the best parts of Rome and it's culture. I recommend this book to someone like me who might not be the best at organising holidays, or just anyone who wants to see the best parts of Rome. Really did make my trip amazing.

Good Information, Could be a bit more detailed By Jason Hall Good simple guide, but wish it was a bit more comprehensive/had a little more detailed information. It would also be helpful if the map were a little bit more detailed or easier to read. Other than that, however, there is a good amount of information about Rome, including information to know before you go, insider tips, and a sample 5 day itinerary. Some other useful information are the list of Italian phrases, when the best time to visit is, airport information, and best places for budget and luxury travelers.
