In "The New Revelation" the first dawn of the coming change has been described. In "The Vital Message" the sun has risen higher, and one sees more clearly and broadly what our new relations with the Unseen may be. As I look into the future of the human race I am reminded of how once, from amid the bleak chaos of rock and snow at the head of an Alpine pass, I looked down upon the far stretching view of Lombardy, shimmering in the sunshine and extending in one splendid panorama of blue lakes and green rolling hills until it melted into the golden haze which draped the far horizon.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Arthur Conan Doyle and Spirituality By Dave Nelson This past week I finished reading 1500 pages of an annotated version of the Sherlock Holmes stories by Arthur Conan Doyle. Sherlock was born in 1854 and ACD in 1859. Much to my surprise it was written that the Sherlock Holmes stories were mainly created to pay the bills for the aspiring doctor ACD. His real interest was on spiritualism. From a materialist background his original impulse was that psychic phenomena was bogus until he saw the names of some prominent scientists who believe in spiritualism. Thus began a search for his own truth. He did a 180 degrees turn and later believed that we are a Soul in a physical body. His original search is written in a small book called "The New Revelation". His conclusion is written in this book. The dogma of science and religion is opposed to spirituality. Science has led to our many materialistic wonders and people in droves are turning away from the contradictory and simplistic answers of religion. It is a tough job to convince people embedded in our present scientific way of looking at things to look at the evidence postulating we are a Soul in a body and to bring people back from their turned off views of religion. ACD is very convincing in his presentations. A must read for anyone interested in what happens when our body dies and what happens to our Soul. And its only 73 pages long.
